Movers in Wola, Warsaw

We move flats out of the blocks in Koło and Młynów, apartments from the towers around rondo Daszyńskiego and whole offices. Our own office is in Wola too, so this is home turf for us.

Few parts of Warsaw have changed as much in recent years as Wola. Glass office towers and tall apartment buildings have sprung up around rondo Daszyńskiego, while a few streets away you still find communist-era blocks and the odd pre-war tenement. Our office is at ul. Chłodna 9, so we are never far away. A move from Wola to Bemowo, Ochota, Żoliborz or across the Vistula stays within Warsaw, which means the fixed base rate: Mini with one mover for 390 zł / 2 h, Standard with two movers for 490 zł / 2 h and Comfort with packing for 600 zł / 2 h. You pay per started hour, from 2 to 8 hours per order, and the price does not depend on which vehicle we send.

In the new towers and apartment buildings, a move usually starts with a word to the building management or reception. Sometimes you need to register the date, book the lift or have its walls protected, and the van rarely fits into the underground car park because of the height limit – so we load from the street or a lay-by outside the entrance. Note in the booking whether the building has a delivery access point, and give us the entry code or the contact of whoever will let us in. In the older blocks in Koło or Młynów the lifts can be cramped, and lower buildings often have none at all – that is where the Standard package with two movers pays off. A surcharge only comes into play from the 5th floor up without a lift, and it is always agreed by phone.

Wola is also a business district, so we move a lot of offices here: desks, filing cabinets, equipment and archives. An office move is best planned for an evening or weekend, so your team can keep working and we avoid the jams on Prosta, Towarowa and aleja Prymasa Tysiąclecia. Wolska and Górczewska get busy at rush hour too, and part of Wola is in the paid parking zone, so it is worth checking in advance where the vehicle can stop. If you are heading further west, say to Ożarów Mazowiecki, we drive out along Wolska and Połczyńska – in that case the price in the form is an estimate and a manager confirms the final amount by phone. For a large office or flat we usually bring the Iveco tarp truck or the Ford Transit, while a few pieces of furniture fit in the Mercedes Sprinter.

Practical tips

  • Living in a tower or apartment building? Tell the management about the move and ask whether the lift needs booking.
  • The van usually cannot enter an underground car park – note where it can stop close to the entrance.
  • Part of Wola is in the paid parking zone, so check beforehand where the vehicle can legally wait.
  • Plan an office move for an evening or weekend and list the equipment in the notes.

Questions

How does a move from an apartment building with a reception and underground car park work?

Agree the date with the building management first, then add the floor, entry code and a spot where the vehicle can stop to your notes. We normally load in front of the building, as underground car parks have a height limit. If the other address is in Warsaw as well, the fixed base hourly rate applies.

Can you move an office from Wola to another part of Warsaw?

Yes. Within Warsaw the rate is fixed: Standard with two movers is 245 zł/h and Comfort with packing is 300 zł/h, with a two-hour minimum. You can book up to 8 hours online; if you need more, pick the maximum and explain in the notes – we will sort out the details by phone.
