Movers in Ursus

For decades Ursus was a town in its own right, best known for its tractor factory, and it only became part of Warsaw in the 1970s. You can still see that history in its streets: alongside older blocks and family houses in Gołąbki, Szamoty and Skorosze, large new estates are going up on former industrial land. The new buildings usually have lifts, underground car parks and barriers, while the older blocks often have nothing but stairs and tight stairwells. When picking a time, bear in mind the railway line that cuts Ursus into a northern and a southern half – there are only a few places to cross it, and queues build up there at rush hour. Towards the centre we usually take Aleje Jerozolimskie, which can be badly jammed in the morning, so for a move to Śródmieście or Mokotów an afternoon or a flexible start time works better. On the new estates the internal roads can be narrow and access is often through a barrier, so it helps if someone comes down to meet the crew.
