Pine woods, sandy lanes and houses with gardens – that sums up most of Wawer, Warsaw’s largest district by area. People moving out of Anin, Marysin Wawerski, Międzylesie, Radość or Falenica rarely pack up just a few boxes: there is usually garden furniture, a couple of bikes, a garage and a cellar to empty as well. If you are moving from Wawer to another Warsaw address – Gocław, Wilanów or Mokotów, say – the fixed base rate applies: Mini 195 zł/h, Standard 245 zł/h and Comfort with packing 300 zł/h, with a two-hour minimum. Things work differently once you cross the city boundary into Józefów or Wiązowna, which start right where Wawer ends, or carry on to Otwock. The amount in the form is then an estimate, and a manager confirms the final price by phone. Wawer is very spread out, so simply driving to the far side of the city takes longer than it would from the centre – it is worth building some spare time into your booking.
The main roads here are Wał Miedzeszyński, running along the Vistula, and Trakt Lubelski, and we usually cross to the left bank via the Siekierkowski Bridge. With detached houses, what matters most is whether the vehicle can get right up to the door: many lanes are narrow, some are unpaved, and driveway gates are sometimes lower or tighter than a van. Tell us in the notes whether we can drive onto the property, whether we should stop at the garden gate, and whether there is a barrier on the access road. After a downpour or in snow, sandy lanes turn soft, so a firm spot near the gate makes a real difference. How much does it cost to move a house from Wawer to the other side of Warsaw?
When both addresses are in Warsaw, the base rate is fixed: Mini 195 zł/h, Standard 245 zł/h, Comfort 300 zł/h. Every started hour is billed, two hours minimum, and the online form lets you book anything from 2 to 8 hours. For a house, most people choose Standard, and for a big load we send the Iveco tarp truck. The only possible surcharge is for the 5th floor or higher without a lift, which hardly ever applies to a house.
Can you move me from Wawer to Józefów or Otwock?
