Rembertów is one of the greenest and quietest corners of Warsaw, out on the eastern edge of the right bank next to Wesoła and the town of Zielonka. With a detached house, access is everything. Many streets in Rembertów are narrow residential lanes lined with trees, sometimes with no pavement, and there may be a hedge or a low gate in front of the property. The way into the centre and over to the left bank runs through Praga-Południe, and traffic towards the bridges can grind to a halt at rush hour – for a longer trip across town, set off before the morning jams or pick the afternoon.
