Removals from Warsaw to Gdańsk
Moving to the seaside? We collect your things in Warsaw or its suburbs and bring them to Gdańsk – or to Gdynia or Sopot, if that is where your new home is.
A move to the coast is usually one long working day. It is about 340 km from Warsaw to Gdańsk, mostly along the S7, and a loaded van normally covers it in 4–5 hours. Your booking covers all of the crew's working time: loading the van, the drive and carrying everything in at the other end. We charge it at the hourly rate of the package you pick, per started hour. Because a Gdańsk address is outside Warsaw, the figure in the form is only an estimate – a manager calls before the move to confirm the final price. You will not find a flat “Gdańsk rate” with us, because two flats of the same size can take very different amounts of work.
The Tricity, or Trójmiasto, is really three cities – Gdańsk, Sopot and Gdynia – and we deliver to all of them. Enter the exact destination address in the form, as it decides how long the last stretch of the trip takes. With a bigger flat, loading, driving and unloading together can easily go past 8 hours, the most you can book online. That is not a problem: select 8 hours, describe what you are moving in the notes and mention any floor without a lift. A manager will call back, fine-tune the timing and confirm the terms. If your new flat is on one of the newer gated estates, add the gate or barrier code, so the crew is not left waiting at a locked entrance after hours on the road.
Over several hundred kilometres, the way things are packed really matters. Glass, china and electronics should be wrapped and set in boxes so nothing can slide around. If you do not have time for that, pick Comfort, the package with packing, at 300 zł/h. For transport only, Standard with two movers (245 zł/h) is usually enough, or Mini (195 zł/h) for a few boxes and a couple of pieces of furniture. A two- or three-room flat usually goes in the Ford Transit L4H3, and a house or large flat in the Iveco tarp truck. Send us photos on WhatsApp and we will pick the right vehicle and estimate the time more accurately. Someone must already be waiting in Gdańsk with the keys.
Practical tips
- Give the full address in the Tricity – Gdańsk, Sopot or Gdynia – so we can estimate the drive properly.
- Set off before Warsaw's morning rush so unloading by the sea can start earlier.
- Pack a first-night bag – chargers, medicines, documents and clothes – and keep it with you.
- Arrange for someone with the keys to meet the crew at the new address around the expected arrival time.
Questions
Will a move to Gdańsk fit into 8 hours?
For a studio, often yes, but with a bigger flat the drive alone usually takes 4–5 hours, so it may run longer. Book the maximum 8 hours online and describe what you are moving in the notes. A manager will call to settle the details and confirm the final price.
Can you move my things from Gdańsk to Warsaw?
No, we do not accept those jobs. Every move has to start in Warsaw or one of the towns around it. From Warsaw to Gdańsk, Gdynia or Sopot – gladly; the other way round – no.
